BADGER — Badger Lutheran Church, 127 Second Ave. S.E., Badger, is holding a Norwegian supper on Nov. 8 at the church. The supper is dine in with reserved seating times of 4 to 5 p.m., 5 to 6 p.m, and 6 to 7 p.m. The menu is lutefisk, lefse, potatoes, meatballs, green beans, cranberries, flotbrod, gumme, fruit soup, spritz, kringla and krumkae. Otho UMC annual pork loin dinner is today

OTHO — The Otho United Methodist Church is holding its annual pork loin dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. today in the church basement. The menu is pork loin, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, baked beans, rolls, pies and drinks. Adult tickets are $12, children ages 5 through 11 are $6, and preschoolers are free. Fort Dodge Women’s Connection will meet at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 11 at Tea Thyme, 2021 Sixth Ave. S. First UMC soup supper is Monday

First United Methodist, 127 N. 10th St., will host its annual soup supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Monday. The menu is all you can eat soup. Available soups will be vegetable beef, chili, and minestrone. Dine in and to go options will be available. All proceeds from this event will go toward First UMC funding its youth ministries and public youth events like its annual lock in that hosted 96 kids from the area this past weekend. Ticket prices are $12 for ages 14 and up, $10 for ages 4 to 13 and free for children ages 3 and under.
