The Fort Dodge Federated Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lion’s Den, 731 Exposition Drive, Fort Dodge. The program will be on Honey by Stripling Apiaries. The public is always welcome to attend.
HUMBOLDT — An Open Class Horticulture Show will begin at 1 p.m. July 25 and run through 5 p.m. July 26 at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds in the Polka Building. Entries are open to the public from Humboldt and surrounding counties, with the exception of professional arrangers and florists. There are two age divisions: adults and youth (16 and younger). Entries will be accepted from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. Judging begins at 1 p.m. Saturday and is open to the public to listen and learn from the judge.
