Livermore haunted forest is today

LIVERMORE — Livermore 1879 Project second annual haunted forest is 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. today at the Livermore Swimming Pool Park, 201 Ninth Ave., Livermore. There will be family fun for all ages in the shelter house, along with kids clothing, hot chocolate and cookies. Admission is freewill donation to benefit the Livermore community.

GriefShare 'Surviving the Holidays' semimar is Nov. 9

First Covenant Church, 201 Ave. H, is offering a free two-hour GriefShare seminar entitled “Surviving the Holidays” from 2 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the church. It is designed to offer support for those who are grieving throughout the holiday season. It will consist of a video, discussion, and support for each other. All are welcome. Fort Museum trunk or treat will be held on Sunday

The Fort Museum, 1 Museum Road, is holding trunk or treat at the Fort from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday on the Trading Post Grounds. Admission is a freewill donation to the Fort Museum. There will be kids’ games for prizes. The event will be held weather permitting.
