WC Women’s Club holding Halloween mysteries today

WEBSTER CITY — For those who like mysteries on Halloween, the Webster City Women’s Club will present two mysteries in which kids and young adults may participate today at the Jane Young House, 629 Elm St., Webster City. These mysteries will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kids ages 5 to 8 will use a Halloween color wheel to travel from one clue to the next to finally reveal their treat. BADGER — Badger Lutheran Church, 127 Second Ave. S.E., Badger, is holding a Norwegian supper on Nov. 8 at the church. The supper is dine in with reserved seating times of 4 to 5 p.m., 5 to 6 p.m, and 6 to 7 p.m. The menu is lutefisk, lefse, potatoes, meatballs, green beans, cranberries, flotbrod, gumme, fruit soup, spritz, kringla and krumkae. FDPL adult board game night is Monday

The Fort Dodge Public Library, 424 Central Ave., is holding board games for adults from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday in the large meeting room. There will be a wide variety of both classic and new board and card games, but those attending are welcome to bring their own game also. With plenty of games to choose from (and tables for multiple games at once), there’s sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. The game nights will be held the third Monday of every month.
