Webster County Museum needs support
To the editor:
I am writing in regards to the Webster County Museum located in Otho. I was unable to attend the meeting at the VFW when Phyllis Stewart was asking for suggestions on what to do with the museum because of the leaking roof. This museum does not receive county funding and relies on private donations, as a nonprofit.
My husband and I have visited the museum and were amazed at all the Webster County items as well as the items from our pasts on display. We especially like the way the items were displayed by subject.
A BIG thank you goes to all individuals that have worked countless hours volunteering to make this museum a reality. This is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit so any donations or contributions are tax-deductible for you, the donor, to help make the needed repairs. Without donations and volunteer manpower, our history will be lost. I will be donating and I hope you will also.
