What Seniors Are Saying

In step with Adam Pearson — Fort Dodge Senior High

1. What programs and activities do you participate in?

Some of the activities that I have taken part in throughout my high school career have been club and high school soccer, as well as being as involved as I can in anything that has to do with photography.

2. What academic accomplishment are you most proud of?

My biggest academic accomplishment has been that by the time I graduate high school I will have almost completed a full year of college while balancing my time doing those as well as working a part-time job and participating in soccer.

3. What’s your best piece of advice for younger students?

The biggest piece of advice that I would give to younger students was something that an older student actually gave to me, and that was to try to be involved as much as you can and make your time in high school count because it goes by quickly.

4. What is your go-to song or artist?

My current go-to artist is Travis Scott.

5. What is your favorite class or subject and why?

My favorite class that I took while at the Senior High was Photography One and Photography Two. Photography has become a passion of mine, which I am going to pursue in college, but the teacher, Ms. Daniel really helped me improve and find new interest inside of photography.

6. What is your favorite movie?

I am personally not a huge movie watcher but if I had to choose one I would probably say the movie “Travis Scoot, Look Mom I Can Fly.”

7. If you could have dinner with someone famous, who would it be and why?

If I had the opportunity to have dinner with anyone, I would choose my favorite athlete Marcus Mariota. Growing up I became a huge fan of the University of Oregon and he later became my favorite player from that school and overall my favorite player.

8. What are you working hardest on right now?

The biggest thing I am currently working on is challenging myself to create more photography and trying different styles within that topic and just go out and create.

9. Who is your role model in life?

The biggest role model in my life has been my father. He has helped me in life throughout the highs and lows, as well as creating the person that I am today and given me all of the opportunities that I have today.

10. What is your favorite memory from your time in Fort Dodge schools?

My most memorable and favorite memory from high school happened after a soccer game when the team bus broke down and we ended up being stuck in Ankeny for a few hours. This gave me time to really bond with the teams and create a memory I will never forget.
