Lake paddling set for June 30

Webster County Conservation will hold lake paddling from 5 to 7 p.m. on June 30 at Badger Lake in John F. Kennedy Memorial Park, 1415 Nelson Ave., Fort Dodge. Kayaks, paddles and life jackets will be provided. Register online if you need equipment. If you already have your own kayak and life jacket, no registration is needed. Karl King Band celebrates Flag Day

The Karl L. King Municipal Band of Fort Dodge will continue its 2026 summer concert season on Sunday at the Karl L. King Band Shell in Oleson Park. Concert time is 7:30 p.m. The Southeast Valley School Fine Arts Boosters will have ice cream and brownies available for a freewill donation before and during the concert, starting around 6:45 p.m. Persons attending this special Flag Day concert may bring small American flags to wave at appropriate times during the evening. Second Sunday Supper is Sunday
