Adult Winter Reading Challenge at the Fort Dodge Public Library

The Fort Dodge Public Library is having an Adult Winter Reading Challenge this year. The challenge runs through Feb. 28. Pick up reading logs at the library and turn them in for a chance to win weekly prize drawings from Dariette/Ardys Mae Coffee and Dessert, Stella’s Coffee Bar, and Bloomers Coffee. Winter dinner set for Sunday

A winter dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday at the Corpus Christi Center, 402 N. Eighth St. The menu includes broaster chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, roll, dessert and beverage. The cost is $12 for adults, $8 for children, and free for kids ages 3 and under. Takeout meals will be available. The dinner is hosted by Rob and Erika Slinker and Brian and Molly Illg. Proceeds will benefit Holy Trinity Parish.

Fort Dodge Women’s Connection brunch set for Feb. 10, RSVP requested

Fort Dodge Women’s Connection will meet at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 10 at Tea Thyme, 2021 Sixth Ave. S.
