KYL teen events scheduled for May
WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will be having a variety of teen events throughout May.
Teen Lounge — Patrons in sixth through 12th grades are invited from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays. Teen Lounge will happen on Tuesday, May 19, and May 26. As a special event, this Tuesday, current fifth graders are invited to join the Teens for an afternoon of Bingo. Join us weekly for special activities, video games, snacks, crafts, board games, and more. This time and place is perfect to hang out with friends and is a come-and-go style event.
Homeschool TECH BUILD — Students will have time to pick your project. From 1 to 3 p.m. on May 21, patrons will have the opportunity to build a project you may have missed throughout the year. A variety of kits will be available to build and create. This is designed for youths in second through 12th grades and will be held each month in the Teen Area. Parent participation is encouraged.
As always, every day the Teen area located in the Kendall Young Library offers a variety of crafts, board games, community Lego build, Chromebooks, video games, books, and STEM Cart activities that are always available. Stop in for the fun.
