Dodger Academy, the Fort Dodge Community School District’s after-school program, is expanding to include fifth grade this fall. Dodger Academy is a comprehensive academic enrichment program that serves TK-fifth grade students from around the district at Butler Elementary after the regular school day. The program is available from 2:45 to 6 p.m. on school days and students are transported from their school building to Butler Elementary by school bus. This is the 26th year Fort Dodge Middle School students have been recognized with this honor. The Presidential Academic Excellence Award is a national award earned by students who meet the specific criteria.
