Salutes Honor Flight
To the editor:
I returned from Vietnam 50 years ago and kissed the tarmac at Travis AFB, California. So happy and lucky to come home. Then the protesters spit and swore at us.
I thought of the gung ho buddies still fighting and dying back there. We went. We served. I went on the Honor Flight May 12th. I am so thankful for all the sponsors, volunteers, board members, Rally4Veterans, and anyone contributing. I salute your efforts.
