Event in Webster City succeeds

To the editor:

The Arts R Alive in Webster City Committee would like to thank all who attended and helped make the sixth annual Sculpture Event and Seneca Street Painting a success.

Approximately 150 people enjoyed a sunny Wednesday evening and braved the rain on Thursday night. Visitors came from 23 different communities. Thank you to the sculptors who displayed their work. A special thank you to the city of Webster City, the Park and Recreation and Street departments for their assistance. The excellent coverage by the Daily Freeman-Journal, KQWC Radio and The Messenger was appreciated.
