Let’s support Project Blue Light
To the editor:
Last fall I organized a Project Blue Light event in Fort Dodge and we had an amazing amount of support from the community. The purpose of Project Blue Light is to honor fallen law enforcement officers and to show support to current officers. In light of the continued attacks on law enforcement officers I strongly urge everyone to show your support by placing a blue light outside your home, in a front window, wherever you can, to show solidarity to those who risk their lives on a daily basis to protect us.
I also encourage everyone to offer a simple thank you to those officers you see.
A little gratitude can make a huge difference.
