A suggestion for improvement
To the editor:
I attended Shellabration and was a little disappointed. Not that the talent wasn’t there, all of the bands were great. I understand the unwritten rule at major concerts that the opening bands cannot be as loud or sound as good as the main attraction. However, it is my opinion whom ever was in charge of the sound system went way overboard and many of the concert attendants agreed. The three young men of Bad Authority from Carroll and the Jay Clyde Band from Manson both did a fantastic performance, but I felt sorry for them as the sound level was way too low for the big crowd that was there. Hats off to the Shellabration Committee for another great event, but I hope in the future they can give the opening bands the sound they deserve.
