Street closures announced in Fort Dodge
These Fort Dodge streets will be closed beginning this morning for concrete patching repairs, according to the Fort Dodge Public Works Department:
• 12th Street between Fourth and Fifth avenues south
• Eastbound lanes of Fifth Avenue South between 29th and 30th streets
Both of those areas were the sites of water main breaks. Crews will be making permanent repairs to the places where the road had to be dug up to reach the broken water mains.
