Medical issue caused death of man found in Fort Dodge
A deceased man was found behind some commercial buildings near Fifth Avenue South and 29th Street early Monday afternoon.
A medical issue caused the man’s death, according to Fort Dodge Police Chief Dennis Quinn.
At about 1:15 p.m., the police and fire departments were dispatched to an area just northeast of the intersection, between a store and a hotel, for a report of a man who was unresponsive. The Webster County Medical Examiner’s Office was quickly notified.
“After reviewing all available evidence, it appears as though the male passed away as a result of a medical issue,” Quinn said.
