Campbell named to national economic panel
Webster County Supervisor Mark Campbell has been named to a national panel that adresses economic development issues facing counties.
He was recently appointed to the Community Economic Workforce Development Committee of the National Association of Counties. Campbell traveled to Washington, D.C., last week for a meeting of the 53-member committee.
While in Washington, he also met with Bill Northey, the former Iowa secretary of agriculture who is now an undersecretary in the United States Department of Agriculture.
