The St. Edmond girls tennis team got back on track with a 9-0 victory over Hampton-Dumont/CAL here Tuesday.

A night after falling for the first time this year, the Gaels dominated, dropping just four games.

Lauren Gibb, Payton Bradley, Ava Andrew, Cambree Lunn, Ava Underberg and abby Huss were all winners in singles. Gibb, bradley, Lunn and Underberg all won 8-0, with Andrew winning 8-1 and Huss 8-2.

In doubles, Gibb and Bradley, Andrew and Lunn, and Underberg and Chloe Palmer were victorious, losing just one game total.

“All the credit goes to the girls,” SEHS head coach Shawn Neverman said. “I told them to flush the loss from Monday but still focus on getting better moving forward. They did that and more.

“The season is winding down and just getting to the best part. If the girls play the way that I know they can, we can keep the season alive.”
