McClure acquires firm specializing in cold-formed steel

McClure, an engineering firm based in Clive with an office in Fort Dodge, announced its acquisition of Iron Engineering, a company specializing in cold-formed steel, based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

“We are thrilled to welcome Iron Engineering to the McClure family,” Dustin Leo, chief executive officer of McClure, said in a written statement.

“Our structural team has taken us across the country, working on some incredible projects in almost all 48 contiguous states,” he added. “Their success has led us to become a national brand and this acquisition represents a strategic move that will further enhance our structural engineering offerings, particularly in the field of cold-formed steel. Iron Engineering has built an impressive reputation for their technical proficiency and client-focused approach, and we are confident that our combined expertise will deliver exceptional value to our clients.”

Tony Coviello, owner and chief structural engineer of Iron Engineering, will join McClure as market leader, overseeing the integration and expansion of McClure’s business lines in the eastern United States.

“Iron Engineering has a remarkable track record of excellence, and their addition to the McClure team will undoubtedly strengthen our market position,” said Cody Dailey, vice president of structural at McClure. “This strategic move aligns with our commitment to providing comprehensive, high quality engineering services to our clients.”
