WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will be closed today and Saturday for the 4th of July holiday. On July 21, the library will close at 4:30 p.m. for the Hamilton County Fair Parade.

WCCT Presents Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid Jr.’

WEBSTER CITY — Webster City Community Theatre invites audiences to journey beneath the waves this June as nearly 40 area children bring “Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.” to life on the WCCT stage. Based on the beloved Disney classic, the production follows Ariel, a curious young mermaid who dreams of exploring the world above the sea. Lake paddling set for Tuesday

Webster County Conservation will hold lake paddling from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Badger Lake in John F. Kennedy Memorial Park, 1415 Nelson Ave., Fort Dodge. Kayaks, paddles and life jackets will be provided. Register online if you need equipment. If you already have your own kayak and life jacket, no registration is needed.
