MANSON — A number of area squads competed in the Mike Jepson Relays here Tuesday night. St. Edmond scored a pair of relay victories, winning the sprint medley and distance medley relays. Carroll finished first overall ahead of Southeast Valley, as the host Cougars were third. Veneziano fired a 59, finishing just a shot back of Julia Rivas from Saydel for overall medalist honors at Lakeside Golf Course. LAS VEGAS — Fort Dodge state medalists Dreshaun Ross and Knox Ayala both placed in the Top-5 at the United States Open Wrestling Championships in the Expo at World Market Center on Sunday. Ross, a four-time Dodger state champion and an Oklahoma State University recruit, was edged by Iowa State commit Coby Merrill in the U20 freestyle finals at 125 kg.
