FDCSD moves to online registration

The Fort Dodge Community School District is moving to an online student registration process for the 2018-19 school year. Registration for returning students must be completed online between July 2 and July 27.

Parents/guardians must have an Infinite Campus parent account to complete the registration process.

Parents/guardians who do not already have an Infinite Campus account should request one by completing the Infinite Campus Agreement Form on the Parents tab of fdschools.org and returning it along with proof of guardianship (birth certificate, court documents, tax form, immunization record, etc.) to Diane Jass at the Central Administration Building. As part of the registration process, families will be required to provide address verification. Accepted address verification documents include: utility bill or confirmation of services dated within the last 60 days, lease of notarized statement from the landlord, purchase agreement, mortgage statement, Webster County Assessor’s documentation, property tax statement, vehicle registration, DHS paperwork and a shelter stay verification. Families residing in another person’s home will need to provide a notarized statement from that person, including his/her name and address, stating the family is living with him/her. One of the listed address verification documents for the owner of the house must also be provided.

Computers will be available at the Central Administration Building for anyone needing internet access or assistance with the new registration process. Staff will be available to assist families from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday during the registration period. Extended hours will be offered on July 17 and 25 with staff available until 6 p.m. In addition, a Spanish translator will be available on July 2.

Parents/guardians of students new to the district must register their student(s) in person at the Central Administration Building, 104 S. 17th St. Proof of guardianship, the student’s immunization records and an address verification document are required at the time of registration.
