Duncombe native sweeps main events again

WORCESTER, Mass. – Gavin Faith continues to shine on the AMSOIL Arenacross circuit, as the Duncombe native remained unbeaten on the young season.

Faith, the two-time defending 250SX champion, raced out to the front of the pack in the main event, topped teammate Jacob Hayes in the 250AX main event. In the second main event of the night, he again picked up the checkered flag in the 15-lap race ahead of Hayes and Chris Blose, the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Head 2 Head Challenge winner.

In the first race of the season in Dayton, Ohio, earlier this month, Faith was also a double-winner, sweeping the two main events. He entered with the second-fastest qualifying time before quickly moving to the front of the pack at The Nutter Center on the campus of Wright State University.

“I had the first round jitters for sure,” Faith told BabbitsOnline.com. “I felt like I was the fastest guy out there once the gate dropped so I’m leaving Round 1 stoked.”

Faith sits six points ahead of Hayes in the season point standings with 66. He is part of the Team Babbitt/Monster Energy/Kawasaki racing team.

The next event for Faith and his fellow racers will be this Saturday when they head to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, Penn. for the third round of the 2018 AMSOIL Arenacross season.
