HUMBOLDT — Elly Berry picked up three falls here Friday night during a girls tournament hosted by Humboldt.

Berry, a St. Edmond senior, pinned Humboldt’s Ashlynn Sutterfield in 2:35 and Anna Borer in 1:23. She finished off the meet with a pin over Kayden Miller of Aplington-Parkersburg in 2:57.

“Elly wrestled really aggressive,” SEHS head coach Eugene Carlson said. “She is showing what being a senior means. She has some goals set for herself and if she continues to wrestle like this, she will reach them.”
