The annual MAGWED fishing tournament will be held Saturday, May 1, at Triggs Bay Resort, Linden Drive and Arnolds Park in Okoboji.

The competition begins at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday. Weigh-ins are from 4-6 p.m. on Saturday evening.

Prizes will be awarded for largest walleye, largest northern pike, and largest bass (small- or large-mouth) in both the youth and adult divisions.

This year’s tournament is open to any and all of the public.

Every kid who turns in a fish will be entered in a contest to win a bike, and every adult who turns in a fish will be eligible in a contest for a kayak from the Outdoor Store.

Face coverings are required.
