THE TIP: The Gaels will travel to Iowa Falls to face Iowa Falls-Alden in a doubleheader. The girls game will tip at 6:15 p.m. with the boys to follow at 7:45 p.m.

ABOUT THE CADETS: Iowa Falls-Alden lost to Clarion-Goldfield-Dows 44-14 earlier this week.

ABOUT THE LIONS: Clear Lake defeated Webster City 65-28 on Tuesday night. They face Crestwood on Thursday night. Earlier in the season they beat the Gaels 77-18.

Iowa Falls-Alden (7-6, 4-4): Brody Steinfeldt, sr., 4.2; Blake Janssen, so., 7.5; Karson Sharar, jr., 21.3; Logan Aldinger, sr., 14.5; Garret Renaud, jr., 6.5.

Clear Lake (12-2, 9-0): Carson Toebe, so., 14.9; Jack Barragy, sr., 8.5; Andrew Formanek, jr., 15.7; Kody Kearns, sr., 9.9; Jaylen DeVries, sr., 9.2.

LAST MEETING: The first contest between the two teams was postponed. They will play tonight and on Feb. 11. St. Edmond and IF-A split last season, with both teams winning on the road.

LAST TIME OUT: The Gaels lost to Algona 50-43.

ABOUT THE CADETS: Iowa Falls-Alden is coming off a 91-58 victory over Clarion-Goldfield-Dows. Sharar (24), Janssen (22) and Aldinger (20) all reached the 20-point plateau.

ABOUT THE LIONS: The Lions defeated Webster City 65-39 on Tuesday night and will play Crestwood tonight. Clear Lake beat the Gaels 62-32 in the Gael gym earlier this season.
