WEST DES MOINES – The Fort Dodge boys soccer team lost to Dowling 6-0 on Friday night.

“We challenged our players to start the game as intense and focused as we ended the Marshalltown contest,” said Fort Dodge head coach Joe Jackson. “They rose to the occasion going down only 2-0 after a hard fought first half.

“We lost focus a few times in the second half allowing four more. Adam Person is improving each game and had nine saves.”

The Dodgers are back in action on Tuesday when they host Mason City.
