Brayton with another Top-7 finish

FD native sixth in Houston

HOUSTON – Fort Dodge native Justin Brayton claimed sixth place honors here this past weekend at the 2018 Monster Energy AMA Arena Supercross event.

Jason Anderson picked up the checkered flag at the event, with Ken Roczen finishing second and Justin Barcia third.

Racing for Smartop/MotoConcepts, Brayton was seventh at the season opening event in Anaheim.

“I’m excited for what’s to come this season,” Brayton posted on Facebook. “Enjoying every moment.”

Brayton is now sixth overall in the series point standings following two rounds with 33 points. Anderson leads with 49, with Roczen and Barcia tied for second with 42. Brayton is just three points back of Cole Seely and Weston Peick.

The series heads back to Anaheim for another round this Saturday at Angel Stadium.
