CLARICE ALTMAN

A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Laufersweiler Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at North Lawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the funeral home.

Clarice was born March 24, 1933, in Meridian, Mississippi, to James and Rosetta (Lowe) McGrew. In 1950, she married LaSalle Altman and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Clarice enjoyed Bible study, puzzles, peppermint candy, Grit TV, cooking, word searches, and giving the best unsolicited advice any mother and grandmother could give.

She is survived by her children Larry, DeLois, Danny (Angela), James, Joanna (Randy), Michael (Kandi), all of Fort Dodge, granddaughter that she raised as her own Jessica (Dale) of Clarksville, TN, 32 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild,

Clarice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, daughters Diane and Angela, and grandsons Colby and Joshua.
