Woman killed in Kossuth County crash ALGONA — An Emmetsburg woman was killed Monday when a big truck slammed into her car at an intersection in rural Kossuth County. The Iowa State Patrol identified her as Carolee Wise, 47. She was declared dead at the scene. Two other people were injured. The crash happened at 10:30 a.m. at 90th Avenue and 210th Street, according to state troopers.
