The Fort Dodge Federated Garden Club will be holding its annual plant/garage sale from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (or until sold out) Thursday at the Fort Dodge Lions Den, 731 Expo Drive. Plants available will include annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and more. There will also be garden-related books, magazines and tools, garden art and artistic repurposed items, as well as household goods, puzzles, vases, decor and miscellaneous items.
Webster County Health Department has partnered with Iowa Total Care and Hy-Vee for Community Connection Wellness Bash. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Athletics For Education & Success 712 Third St. NW, on Saturday. Green to Go Program will give away 10,000 pieces of fresh produce to community members. There will also be shelf sustainable foods, family giveaways, family activities and more.
Parts of three Webster County roads are closed because of high water covering them, according to the County Engineer’s Office. Those roads are: • Dolliver Park Road between the north and south ends of the park. • McGuire Bend Road through Deception Hollow • Xavier Avenue between Brushy Creek Road and the border of Hamilton and Webster counties.

The Webster County Treasurer’s Office will be closed on Thursday so that it can be moved back into the courthouse. The office will reopen in the courthouse on Friday.
LIVERMORE — Livermore American Legion Otto Field Post 415 is holding a breakfast fundraiser from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the Livermore Legion basement. The menu is pancakes, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and homemade cinnamon rolls for $10 per person.
