Street closure, water shut off set for MLK Drive
Part of Martin Luther King Drive will be closed beginning Monday and water service to some of the surrounding area will be shut off on Wednesday, according to an announcement from the Public Works Department.
Martin Luther King Drive will be closed between Third and Sixth avenues north.
Water will be turned off at 5 a.m. Wednesday and will remain off until late morning. That will affect these areas:
∫ Martin Luther King Drive between Second and Sixth avenues north
∫ Fourth Avenue North between 22nd Street and Martin Luther King Drive
These shut offs are necessary so that city crews can replace two water main valves.
