A Fort Dodge woman accused of dealing fentanyl pills has pleaded guilty to a federal crime, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Iowa. Leslie J. Fanning, 36, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of fentanyl, federal prosecutors said. Between 2021 and June 2024 she and others planned to distribute fentanyl, according to the Attorney’s Office.
