OTHO — Friendship Haven residents frolicked in the crimson, tangerine, and golden fall leaves at Dolliver Memorial State Park last week.
The nature visit was part of Friendship Haven’s 51st annual Fall Leaves Tour.
“The goal of the Fall Leaves Tour is to give residents an opportunity to see the field work and to enjoy the fall landscape at Dolliver Park,” said Steve Ehrhardt, director of life enrichment at Friendship Haven.
Twelve residents participated in the fall tour and also had an opportunity to enjoy a fall treat with volunteers from the Dayton United Methodist Church.
“The residents had a great time on the Fall Leaves Tour,” said Ehrhardt. “They look forward each fall to the special outing. Social time is a highlight of the trip.”
