FD schools to open TK, kindergarten pre-registration

Transitional kindergarten (TK) and kindergarten pre-registration for the 2021-22 school year opens March 15 at the Fort Dodge Community School District. To be eligible to attend TK or kindergarten in the fall of 2021, children must be 5 years old by Sept. 15, 2021. Space is limited for TK. TK pre-registrations will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis with a waiting list once the sections are full. On Feb. 6, members of the Fort Dodge Senior High speech team participated in the Iowa High School Speech Association State Large Group Speech Contest. They performed the 14 acts that qualified for state through the district competition last month. FDCSD 7th-12th grade athletic physicals March 4

Athletic physicals for current 7th-12th-grade students will be offered from 5:15–6 p.m. Thursday at Fort Dodge Senior High. The cost is $15. Masks will be required for all students at all times unless specifically asked by a healthcare provider to remove it during the physical.
