FD schools post 5-12 winter concert series

The Fort Dodge Community School District announces its 5-12 grade winter concert series.

All performances will take place at the Fort Dodge Middle School auditorium and are open to the public. Activity passes will be honored.

• Dec. 2: 7-8 Grade Band Winter Concert at 7 p.m. Admission is $1 per student and $3 per adult with a maximum charge of $5 per family.

• Dec. 3: 5-6 Grade Band Winter Concert with 5th grade at 6:30 p.m. followed by 6th grade at 7:30.

• Dec. 5: 5-8 Grade Orchestra Winter Concert at 7 p.m.

• Dec. 8: FDSH Instrumental Winter Concert at 2 p.m. Admission is $1 per student and $3 per adult with a maximum charge of $5 per family.

• Dec. 10: 5-6 Grade Honor Choir and 6th Grade Choir Winter Concert at 7 p.m.

• Dec. 12: FDSH Yuletide Choir Concert at 7 p.m. Admission is $1 per student and $3 per adult with a maximum charge of $5 per family.

• Dec. 17: 7-8 Grade Choir Winter Concert at 7 p.m. Admission is $1 per student and $3 per adult with a maximum charge of $5 per family.

“The students have been working hard preparing for these concerts and are excited to showcase their talents for their families and the community,” said Matt Drees, FDSH vocal instructor.

“Please come support our students and enjoy some outstanding music at one or several of these performances.”
