Community Christian School, 2406 9 1/2 Ave. S., started the Little Crusaders Daycare in January 2019.

Kathy Dencklau directs the day care. She moved her existing day care to CCS, providing more capacity for children.

The Little Crusaders Daycare provides year-round care for infants to school-age children.

A summer program for preschool and school-age children was also initiated.

The start-up of the new daycare was supported by Linking Families and Community, contributing a $23,000 grant.

The grant money allowed the center to purchase equipment and supplies.

Little Crusaders Daycare provides a nutritional food program with meals and snacks prepared on-site, an early childhood Christian curriculum, outside play time, center play stations with an academic focus, extended care for the 3- and 4-year-old preschool program, and before and after school care.
