Humboldt native named engineering teacher of the year

HUMBOLDT — Anthony Tegtmeyer, a graduate of Humboldt High School, has been recognized by Project Lead The Way as the Engineering Teacher of the Year, the highest recognition for PLTW engineering educators. Tegtmeyer is an aerospace engineer graduate from Iowa State University. He holds a master’s degree in teaching. Family Planning Clinic offers reduced cost screenings

Women age 40 and older who are in need of cervical and breast cancer screenings but can not afford them can now receive these services at the Webster County Family Planning Clinic. The Webster County Family Planning Clinic, located at 110 N. 12th St., has been named a ‘Care For Yourself’ provider. IGIA to award Build with Bags grants

The Iowa Grocery Industry Association is accepting applications for Build with Bags grants, which are to be used for improvements to parks, school playgrounds and other types of recreation. Fort Dodge native Eddie Doyle has joined Central Financial Group as an independent agent. He will be working out of the Fort Dodge office, 301 S. 25th St. He was previously living in Jacksonville, Florida, and working at Bankers Life. SHEFFIELD — Sukup Manufacturing Co. has named a new president and CEO for its company. Steve Sukup became the president and CEO of Sukup, the world’s largest manufacturer of grain storage, on Feb. 1.
