Kelley becomes court appointed special advocate

April Kelley, of Dakota City, was sworn into service as a court appointed special advocate volunteer by District Associate Judge Joseph Tofilon at the Webster County Law Enforcement Center in Fort Dodge.

Kelley joins others who volunteer and work with the Iowa Child Advocacy Board, the agency which provides oversight and training for the CASA program and the Foster Care Review Board in the state of Iowa.

Kelley serves as a CASA for children whose cases originate in North Iowa, a region that includes Webster, Humboldt, Hamilton, Wright, Pocahontas, and Calhoun counties.
