KYL to hold children’s programs
WEBSTER CITY — Kendall Young Library will hold story/activity programs for all ages throughout June and July.
Children’s Summer Reading Program — Patrons from birth to fifth grade, are invited to join in a variety of “Plant a Seed, Read” summer programs. There are reading challenges, adventure maps, and great programs each week. Details and resources to participate are available at the Children’s Checkout Desk.
Children’s Special Events
∫ 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday — Mini Golf by Wandering Greens at Webster City Market Night — sponsored by Kendall Young Library
∫ 5 to 8 p.m. on July 7 — Family Pool Party at the Webster City Outdoor Pool — free event for the whole family
∫ 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on July 9 — Patrons are invited to play the BIG GAMES in the Teen Area. Anyone 8 years and older or with an adult can stop in an enjoy the fun.

Children’s Weekly Programs
Wild Things (TK to second grade) will meet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 30, July 7 and 14.
Fuzzy Ducklings (Under 3 tears) will meet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, July 1, 8, and 15.
Hungry Caterpillars (3-year-old and 4-year-old preschool)) will meet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, July 2, 9, and 16.
Tweens (third through fifth grades) will meet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, June 26, July 3, 10, and 17.
*Throughout the summer, Kendall Young Library determines your age group by the grade you will be entering into in fall 2026.
