Dr. Mary Oberg, of Fort Dodge, has accepted a position with Dr. Ryan Brown at Central Iowa Eyecare, 1202 Second Ave. N. She previously practiced as the optometrist at the Fort Dodge Hy-Vee Vision Center.

Oberg is a Fort Dodge native. She graduated from St. Edmond High School in 1985. She studied at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois, graduating in 1992. Her professional interests include pediatrics, low vision care, contact lenses and ocular disease, including diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and macular degeneration.
