LIVERMORE — The Livermore United Women in Faith are holding a turkey dinner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Nov. 20 at the Livermore United Methodist Church basement, Livermore. The menu is turkey, dressing, corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, dessert, water and coffee, for a freewill donation. The dinner will be served dine in or carryout.
LEHIGH — The Lehigh Methodist Church’s Second Sunday Supper will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the church basement. The menu includes a variety of kinds of soup with dessert and a drink for a freewill donation.
The Catholic Daughters Court 216 New Member Initiation Mass will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2501 Sixth Ave. N. (NOTE: change of location for Mass). Mass will be followed by dinner at the Corpus Christi Center, 405 N. Eighth St., a special presentation of Veterans Honor Quilts to honor our Veterans, and a short CDA business meeting. VFW Post is holding a turkey dinner today at the VFW, 518 S. 29th St., serving from 4:30 p.m. until gone. The menu is turkey, dressing, real mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, dessert and coffee. Tickets are $12 per person, dine in or carryout. Everyone is welcome.
