VFW Post is holding a turkey dinner on Nov. 8 at the VFW, 518 S. 29th St., serving from 4:30 p.m. until gone. The menu is turkey, dressing, real mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, dessert and coffee. Tickets are $12 per person, dine in or carryout. Everyone is welcome.
LIVERMORE — Livermore American Legion Otto Field Post 415 is holding a breakfast fundraiser from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 9 in the Livermore Legion basement. The menu is pancakes, eggs, sausage and biscuits and gravy for $10 per person.
First Covenant Church, 201 Ave. H, is offering a free two-hour GriefShare seminar entitled “Surviving the Holidays” from 2 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the church. It is designed to offer support for those who are grieving throughout the holiday season. It will consist of a video, discussion, and support for each other. All are welcome.
