Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court 216 will meet May 9 at the Corpus Christi Center, 405 N. Eighth St. Mass will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner, speaker and meeting. RSVP meal reservations by noon May 7 to Kitty Nilles at 515-206-5496. All women of the Catholic faith are invited to come see what Catholic Daughters is all about. Visitors and guests will not be charged for dinner but need to RSVP.

The guest speaker will be Sister Shirley Fineran, O.S.F. Her presentation will be about human trafficking. Sister Fineran has been an active volunteer in peace, justice and women’s issues for 60 years as a Sister of St. Francis of Dubuque. She is a tireless advocate for comprehensive immigration reform and educating others about human trafficking.
