WATERLOO — The third-ranked Fort Dodge softball team ran its win streak to 11 straight with another convincing sweep. The Dodgers (19-2 overall) combined for 26 runs in 11-1 and 15-0 victories over Waterloo East on Tuesday night. During the streak the Dodgers have scored double digits in nine consecutive games. HUMBOLDT — Tru McBride had one career home run in nearly 220 varsity at-bats heading into the 2026 baseball season. That narrative has changed in a big way for the Fort Dodge junior this year.
