Homeless men are God’s children, too

To the editor: What do you think of when you hear the phrase "homeless men"? Some think right away they are lazy, maybe a drug addict, dirty, not willing to work, or just worthless. But do you ever stop to think: what does God think of them? I would guess not, because general society doesn't usually stop to think of them as God's children. To the editor, With the latest submission of a petition forcing the "Case for Eight" franchise fee ordinance to a special election I question why does the city of Fort Dodge have a city manager, mayor, City Council, and city department heads? It seems to me the spirit of a representative form of government is dead in this town.
