KANKAKEE, Ill. — The 12th-ranked Iowa Central women’s soccer team put on another offensive clinic here Wednesday, blasting Kankakee, 7-0.

This was the first live action for the Tritons (2-0 overall) since opening the year back on Aug. 21 with a 10-0 victory vs. Rochester Tech.

Karma McMorris had two goals to lead the way, as Sydney Hagen, Alexandrea Villalobos, Gracie Lozenski, Madeline Stribe and Mckenna Hilton all had one each.

Hilton recorded three assists, Hagen had two and Stribe one in the win.

McMorris now has six goals on the year to lead the team with Villalobos sitting at three through two games.

Iowa Central remains on the road, heading to Livonia, Mich. this Friday to face No. 8 Schoolcraft before taking on Dakota County Tuesday in Minnesota. They have matches in Illinois and Nebraska before making their home debut on Wednesday, Sept. 24 vs. 16th-ranked Hawkeye.
