AMES — Micah Flaherty kept his perfect singles record intact here Tuesday, posting a straight-set victory for the Fort Dodge boys tennis team.

Ames won the meet, 9-2, as Flaherty and fellow junior Tate Balkenende earned a doubles win over 2023 state qualifiers Tharun Raju and Anson Bernard of the Little Cyclones.

In singles, Flaherty was victorious, 6-1, 6-4, over Raju. The doubles team won, 6-2, 6-2.

Arthur Lund earned a junior varsity win for the Dodgers, who return to action Monday at Des Moines East. They close out the regular season next Tuesday vs. Des Moines North and next Wednesday at Des Moines Hoover.
