CRESTON — Just 13 football teams remain unbeaten in the state of Iowa. One of those will welcome in Webster City here Friday night in the Class 3A quarterfinals. The Lynx (8-2 overall) take on Creston (10-0) for a spot in the semifinals at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls next week. The Emmetsburg football team claimed the Class 1A, District 2 title this season, and the E-Hawks were honored with several awards. Jace Nelson-Brown was named offensive MVP with teammate Carson Baak earning defensive player of the year honors.
