The 40th Friends of Saint Edmond Ball was held on May 7. The theme this year was “Roots to Come Back to, Reasons to Stay.” The evening consisted of a special presentation, buffet dinner, silent and live auctions, a wine and whiskey pull, an envelope wall, and music performed by Salty View. The co-chairs this year were Ashley and Elliott Doster and Erin and Jeremiah Rossmanith. The net total was $330,000, which is the highest total in the 40-year history of the Saint Edmond Ball. The car and tuition raffles were held again, along with a new staff raffle this year. The winners were:
First prize, choice of 3 cars: Eric Doyle
Second prize, $2,500 flooring: Andy Schnurr
Third prize, $2,000 groceries: Sheila Pliner
$1,000 tuition: Jaci Schreiber
$1,000 tuition: John Dencklau
